In an effort to stick with the Fairy Tale theme I have going this week, check out the two fractured fairy tale picture books I have below!
In, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs by John Scieszka, we get to find out the story from the wolf's point of view. According to him, the media jazzed the story up all for the sake of selling papers! Find out what damage a sneeze and a cup of sugar can do, along with not wanting to waste your food.
Not only will you laugh at this book, but you will never want to talk bad about a wolf's grandmother again!
In The Princess and the Pig by Jonathan Emmet, a princess and a pig accidentally switch places. Throughout the books, other classic fairy tales are used to portray the circumstances, or rather why some of the main characters think these circumstances are happening.
Prepare for some giggles as you read what happens to Priscilla and Pigmella. It is quite the silly tale.
