Reveal Me (Shatter Me 5.5)

Didn't realize this until yesterday, but my auto-posting skills leave something to be desired. So sorry for the unintentional week off from these reviews!

This is another novella that is from Kenji's point of view that I absolutely loved.

I do have to say that this is also the book where we see Kenji the most vulnerable we have ever seen him. He's worried about Adam and James. He's worried about Juliette/Ella. He's got a thing for Nazeera so he's totally on edge from that. He's just got a lot on his plate, okay guys?

For me, this novella really humanized him. Not that he was human before. We just see him rushing into all of these situations during the series that make us think he is super human sometimes. And yes, he has super powers, but this book made me realize that he is still just one person. The anxiety he's feeling regarding his friends and the goofy feelings he is having for Nazeera just confirm that sometimes things take a toll.
