I might have a slight obsession with Jory John. Penguin Problems is one of my favorite picture books (After hearing it read to you by a 2 year old who even does voices, your life will never be the same). So imagine my delight when I discovered there was a NEW Jory John book coming out and it had to do with a subject that I suffer from often. Poor Jeff goes through his day feeling as if something was very wrong and I can honestly relate to almost everything that happens in this book.
This book is amazing because...
- Jeff (the bear) goes through his whole day feeling as if something is wrong and it is so perfect because his inner dialogue is one that I know I have had with myself when I feel as if I have forgotten to do something.
- Anders (the rabbit) shows what true friendship is when he helps Jeff figure out why he has been feeling off. Without missing a beat, he steps up and makes everything okay.
- Those illustrations!! And not just the ones in the book because the end pages are beautiful as well!
Happy Reading!
