I'm not sure what it is about reading books that feature men who skate around and bash into each other, but here we are. Today's Author and Series highlight are for Sarina Bowen and, more specifically, her Brooklyn Bruisers series.
I have actually read a number of her books and really love all of them, but there is just something about hockey players that makes me super happy.
Now, it's not like the women in these books are weak and docile things who need a strong man to sweep them off their feet and make all their dreams come true. In all of Sarina Bowen's books, the female characters are strong, quirky women who stand on their own two feet. The women in the Brooklyn Bruisers series just also happen to enjoy sports (specifically hockey) and some of them even have jobs in that field.
So, if you're looking for some sweaty, sporty, masculine men paired up with sassy, independent women, look no further than this series, and maybe check out some of her other works too!
