Today for top five Tuesday I'm going to give you my favorite books about Sisters!!!
#5
Sisters by Danielle Steel
This book appealed to me on several levels. I come from a large family and, while I only have one sister, the bond that the family shares in the face of tragedy during this booreminded me so much of my own family and the bond we all share.
#4
The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown
Similar to Sisters by Danielle Steel, this book shows family in the face of tragedy after several years of separation. The title is named for the nickname the Sisters get in the book because of their ability to quote Shakespear at the drop of a hat. Their father is a professor.
#3
Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen
After living alone for several years in a house she inherited from her grandmother, Claire's sister is suddenly back in her life. The book follows the Sisters as they reconnect.
#2
The Two Princesses of Bamarre by Gail Carson Levine
When older sister Meryl falls ill, younger and shy sister Addie must find the courage it takes to find her cure. I love how this book shows the strong bond between sisters.
#1
Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen
Ruby has been on her own for two months when her sister Cora steps into take over after being absent for ten years. While this book does has some love story aspects, Ruby and Cora's reunion and relationship development is awesome.
